We offer a competitive salary as an official Bronx Plan and Teachers of Tomorrow (TOT) School:

  • Bronx Plan: salary differential of $7,200 for the following positions:

    • Teachers in all bilingual licenses

    • English as a Second Language (ESL) Teachers

    • Earth Science, Physics, and Chemistry Teachers 

    • Mathematics Teachers

    • Bilingual Guidance Counselor, Bilingual School Psychologist, Bilingual School Social Workers

  • TOT: New teachers have the opportunity to receive an annual award of $3,400 for up to four years

TEACHER DEVELOPMENT

We have weekly in-house professional development, a New Teacher Mentoring Program, New Teacher Monthly Seminars, and a daily professional period for co-planning.

DISTRIBUTED LEADERSHIP

Decisions are driven by teams of teachers. In fact, 23 teacher teams collaborate to support our school vision. Even the school website and the Gotham Gazette are supported by the Communications Team.

STAFF BONDING

Positive school culture starts with building relationships. We have had 8 staff outings this year, from surfing in Rockaway to paint balling upstate.
