WHY DOES THE SCHOOL OFFER INTERNSHIPS TO JUNIORS AND SENIORS?

Internships provide students with an opportunity to learn-by-doing, develop relevant skills, explore interests, and traverse the city. It's a spectacular opportunity for authentic college and career readiness!

HOW DO I BECOME AN INTERNSHIP MENTOR?

Please email internships@gchs.nyc to inquire to learn more about becoming a mentor and internship site.

WHY ARE WE CALLED GOTHAM COLLABORATIVE?

No, we're not sponsored by DC Comics. Gotham is the informal name for NYC, which we believe serves as the ultimate classroom for learning and exploring. We are a collaborative learning environment, both among students and within Professional Learning Communities.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A PROSE SCHOOL?

The Progressive Redesign Opportunity for Schools of Excellence program enables schools with a demonstrated record of effective school leadership, collaboration, and trust to implement innovative practices outside of existing rules​

CAN I VISIT THE SCHOOL?

Yes! We have an open door policy and invite our families and prospective families to call our office to set an appointment at (718) 587-1587.

WHERE IS THE SCHOOL CAMPUS LOCATED?

We are located on the 4th floor of the Stevenson Campus. We are accessible by car (alternate side parking around school; lot in rear), or public transit (Train: 6 + BX 36 or Bus: Bx36, Bx 39, Bx5, BMx8).
