College Pathway Program

Gotham Collaborative is an Educational Option School. This means we weigh specific criteria components to consider students' admission into our program:

In order for our students to have access to the resources and supports needed to reach their highest potential, attendance is crucial. Accordingly, attendance is weighed the most in our admissions process. Offers of enrollment are contingent upon the number of applicants and the number of available seats in a given program. Additional students may be offered admission, if enrollment targets have not been met. Students with Disabilities are considered in comparison to other students with similar IEPs. GCHS does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender, religion, disability, or socioeconomic status.

  • 60%

    Attendance

Students can earn a maximum of 60 points for this component. To calculate their score for this component, the total number of absences will be subtracted from 60. The lowest score possible is zero, and will be assigned to any student with 60 or more absences. E.g. A student who is absent 20 days will receive 40 points because 60 points possible – 20 days absent = 40 points awarded.

  • 20%

State Math & ELA Test Scores

Students can earn a maximum of 10 points for each exam in this component. To calculate their score for this component, the scale below will be used to assign points for each exam.

    1.00 - 2.00 - 0 points

    2.01 - 2.33 - 5 points

    2.34 -2.67 - 7.5 points

    2.67+ - 10 points

  • 20%

    ELA & Math Grades

Students can earn a maximum of 10 points per subject for this component. To calculate their score for each subject area, the numerical grade will be divided by 10. The lowest score possible is zero. E.g. A student whose math grade is 70 will receive 7 points because 70 / 10 = 7 points awarded.
